Traveling eyes
try to stay within the lines
of this mirrored maze of crusty tears.
I see distraught on their faces-
don't try to understand me, just yet.
I hear rejected whispers-
minds too young to comprehend.
But you, your look is kind,
like a painter bringing voice to art.
If fate will have mercy, we may meet again
as we merge within this never-ending forest of
peek-a-boo and hide-n-seek.
Perhaps my gaze will be more accepting,
just as yours is today.
