Just havin' fun here, guys. Forgive me for the "wuss." I have to confess that no one is a bigger coward than I am where it comes to being sick or injured! Been a rough couple of weeks, and I am a firm believer in a laugh-a-day. {Apple-shmapple.} Make that as many laughs as possible! Hope you get at least one out of this bit of nonsense. Cheers!!

  For Better or Nurse

Male-bashers deserve a slap upside the head.
You guys have enough on your plate, as it is.
Cute when you're mad, and handy in bed.
Aces. . . as long as you don't get sick.

One minute Batman, the next, Sir Wuss.
Can't lift a finger without a hoist.
Fetch this!  Fetch that!  Whine-grrrr-cuss.
When did a grizzly take over your voice?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.   Oooooooooooh.
Ow, ouch, ow.
  Gimme the remote.
Pull that shade.  Water's warm.  Hey, You!
Help!!  My tongue just grew a coat!!

Dizzy, never get out of bed again.  Look
at that babe on the tube.  Hot-hot-hot!
Now you've brought me the wrong book.
Not hungry, not hungry, whatcha got??

Tru TV's got a woman on trial for killing.
Hubby because she "snapped."
Moi, here, would never be willing
To think of doing a thing like that.

Though at the moment, I am considering
Throttling a certain fellow a mite.
While he's speechless, I will be sitting
In our back yard, shouting SHITE!

Oh...How right you are, Pea! HaHaHaHa...love this.
Q: Know why married women try not to get very sick?
A: They don't have their self to take care of their self!

This brought a smile as I just got out of hospital today and yea we men tend to want to be babied a little by the nurses but as the nurses are just as likely to be male these days as female that is slowly changing....good to be back.

lol. You are a hoot. Yes, men can be quite silly when they are ill. Mine, may his soul rest in peace, thought every cold or flu was a communist plot to make him miserable. lol. Which made me miserable and the whole family. This poem is priceless. lol. Liz

Boy, you capture the male babies ... errrrr, species perfectly when they're sick. And they call females the weaker sex - I DON'T THINK SO!! Let a man pop a baby out of their nether regions and then they can talk about pain. Right?!? LOL Hope Ray gets to feeling better, and YOU, TOO, (((Pea))). Don't need you down, either!! Well penned.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
