Poem Artwork

golden flame flashes
showstopping acrobatics
falls are lightning fast

~~~
need a fall outfit
trees are all dressed fit to kill
red orange or wine?
~~~

blue and ecstatic
spectacle over like that
this leaf won't let go

 ~~~ .
bored with Crayolas
autumn mashes and mixes
need new color names
~~~

half leaves half water
rain gray meets yellow red brown
colors sticker soles

Great capture of the season. Strange this one is, many of the tree's are holding on to their leaves...and it not like we haven't had any wind!

Nature oxidizes afterwards and winter sings far off in the background. I enjoyed your colorful haikus. Great work!

Glorious images, Pea, just glorious. The first and last are my favourites, the last in particular has the subtlest blend of image and thought.

Nothing like the descent of fall is it, Phyllis. I miss seeing the turning of the leaves from when I lived in New York. We don't get much of that down here in the deep south.

Phyllis! I love the brisk flow of your Fall Haiki!
...and I shall dress upon the spirit of love's seasoned soul
as Sanguine festivals are painted with jewels of dancing gold
