Won't say it deserved it, but this won honorable mention from Shadow Poetry. Those of you who have been kind enough to follow my poetry have probably noticed that color figures prominently. Been thinkin' of putting together a collection titled "Color me Alive." Although. . .so much fun to dream up titles, believe I could fill a book with them. Several volumes!!

Peach is Nice, and Brown
Confident of her talent, Nature paints up a storm, rounding off each raindrop with exquisite attention to form. But dawn tends to make her waffle from pink to purple to apricot. Her palette is rich with gold, and she likes every shade a lot.
This is why every morning greets us with a brand new sky. So-so or spectacular, it lets us know we need to add color to our lives.
So colorfully expressed and such a wonderful tribute to nature. Your message is good advice as well:
