Words fill dictionaries, words fill thesauruses.
Words fill libraries, words fill stores.
Words speak against us and words speak for us.
Words aggravate, tease, tickle, or bore.
Words turn people into sheep.
Words put audiences to sleep.

Words can cast the weirdest spells.
Words say too little or way too much.
Words spew from talking heads (oh, well).
Words make peace, cause war, and touch.
Words can be weak and words can be strong.
Words come in short, medium, and long.

With all these words floating back and forth,
I should be able to tell you how much I adore you.
But I have searched east, west, south and north,
And not a single word is good enough for you.
I stand before you wordless, but here is my heart.
All of me, if you will  have me, sweetheart.
