Poets blend verse
in their prose books
blind to the lift
of their craft
shaping words
unintended
for flight
yet our thoughts
leave the lines
nonetheless
flying touch
and go
with the pages.
I think most poets do write from the heart - hence intended verses. Not necessarily what they speak, but they feel. But yes, there are the runaways. Great one, Robert!
