a blood thirsty fool
to satisfy his thirst

virgin blood,
the blood in my veins
pulsating in time

when my screams die down
and my howling subsides
will it ever be enough

to appease the blood thirsty
and feed their hunger
with hostility

to die inside
a little everyday
a long and painful death

a mother's cry
should rip through their cold hearts

but i ask
my heart
have i become blood thirsty too?
