for the taste of sweet
tender rain
let the roof leak
drop by drop,
into waiting saucer pans
frail wooden floor swept clean
of dust and dirt
by the cold wind that blows
through the broken panes
of glass
soft gentle light moon rays
fall silently in the dark
sparse room of my house
forgiving of my ragged appearance,
infinitely kind and wise.
Sublimity, art and wisdom met in the magical pen that wrote "gentle light".
In admiration,
