My Dad will be 91 next week. I take EVERY opportunity to tell him how much he means to me. This is one of those times. My Dad was a farmer and worked hard his entire life. By the way he always fixed my lawnmower!
*HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD* *On August 27^th so many years ago,* *A blue eyed baby boy was born,* *And his Mama loved him so.* *Little did that Mama know* *how many lives that boy would touch.* *He grew to be quite the man* *Who gave his heart and such.* *He loved the land which gave to him* *A life that always kept him trim.* *One day when the mower broke* *He knew without a doubt,* *He’d be the one his daughter called* *he always helped her out.* *He never learned to play* *the way the rest of us did.* *The only thing he knew to do* *Was work and eat, even as a kid.* *Now on this special August day,* *We thank you Lord, our Creator,* *some 91 years have passed.* *We know him as our Dad and friend,* *We thank you Lord without end.* *HAPPY 91^ST BIRTHDAY DAD* *AUGUST 27, 2008* *LOVE,* *KATHY* *Written by Kathryn Neff Perry* COPYRIGHT 2008 © All rights reserved.
