THE EYE OF THE STORM
We wait in wonder about the sea,
The storm clouds tossed about.
When the winds and rains do come,
Dear Lord, shall we all make it out?
Will we make it to the shore at last?
Will the black clouds roll on by?
We fold our hands in prayer, dear Lord,
We’ll sit and hold on fast.
We know dear Lord when the darkness comes,
We cannot be afraid.
You stand by us, and comfort us
You hold us in Your Hands.
We bow on bended knee to you,
Our Creator and our Friend.
We know the sun will shine again,
And oh, Your face we’ll see,
We can’t forget, to thank you Lord,
We come on bended knee.
