MY HUSBAND
MY BEST FRIEND
I seek your face across the room,
I saw you standing there.
You smiled back at me,
Trying not to care.
Those blue eyes dart from side to side,
looking everywhere.
Who’d have thought all those
Years ago when we said I do,
That on this special day my love,
We would join our hands and
Hearts in love and dedication too.
That only God creates a tree,
but my love we also know,
He created you and me.
From this day forward I give to you
My love and life my friend.
You mean to me more than you’ll know.
My love for you will never end.
So when we look to God above, and know
Without a doubt
It is His blessing that we have,
That makes us want to shout.
We come to you in prayer oh Lord,
We thank you, without ceasing.
We Love you Lord and thank you for
A love that keeps increasing.
