I try to remind myself the Lord is always in control. I remind myself to count my blessings. God is Good--All the time----

THE SEA
The waves are slapping against the shore
The night air chills the sea
The birds have left the beach
This time
Are they hiding from me?

I am walking hand in hand
Dear Lord
It’s only you and me
I thought I was alone at first
When did you come to be?

I’ve struggled through the angry tide
I’ve tried to take it all in stride
I used to pray and say to you
I used to tell you what to do.

But when the tide goes out to sea
And all hope seems to fade
Its times like this dear Lord
I know the price you’ve paid

Forgive me Lord for not trusting you
I know you love me through and through
I need to come to you in prayer
I promise just to leave it there.

Leaving and sharing him with the sea is the greatest thing you can do. The sea and all his creatures were made by him, thus that is why it can be so peaceful a place too. You need to pray and I sincerely like the way you did in this write. It is extraordinary write.

Hello Kathryn,

For the first time, I did not use my eyeglasses to read this. Great
piece of poetry and prayer here, it reflects what most of us feel.

So blessed,
Cynthia
