My husband was sitting in the dining room with me today. We were talking about something silly and laughing. It made me realize how happy we both are, just being together.
THAT MAKES ME ALWAYS CARE As I gazed across the ocean I noticed different blues That’s the way my life Was feeling All alone without you. The day you came into my life I knew without a doubt You’d be the one You’d share the fun You’d even share the strife. On days when we do share The ups and downs that Come our way I hear the laughter in your voice That makes me always care. I love those blue eyes That look at me And oh your broken nose I love the way you look At me Your heart it always glows. Walking on the beach with you Is a simple pleasure when I love you more today Than even I remember then. We lie in bed and laugh At our silly jokes at night Our life is better now somehow We never seem to fight. Thank God you have him still to walk along the ocean with and can write about it and are happy and so calm about your life style. I still cry nights for Tom and ask Why did God take him. Someday I too will know that answer too. Must be patient.
