My husbands birthday is tomorrow. I wrote this poem to surprise him. He's my bestfriend.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DARLIN It seems to me this morning I reached across to say Happy birthday darlin This is your special day. I thank your Momma For the life That she gave to you She’s the one that helped us On the day we said I do. You have a heart as good As any can ever be, I thank the Lord my darlin You gave that heart to me. On this journey that we’re on We’ve stumbled, not for long I walk beside you, hold your hand You always stand so strong. On this day I wish you Happiness without end The joy you bring into my life My love to you I send. Happy birthday darlin Have a happy day Know that I do love you And on this day I pray. Wish my Tom was around so I could wish him likethis on his day. I did many a time though, 16 years in fact.
