“The First Poem”

Time passes irreversible, in irrevocable tomorrows
But somewhere, in the beginning, it was like this...
Before yesterdays became lost and irretrievable
Winding, twisting through the ageless abyss of space
Surpassing the birth of eons and the trails of thought
Before light and the magic of life; before first dawn
Through the gates where eternity dwells as master
Before the universe was formed and all was dark
Inconceivable, incomprehensible truth and fact
Before the light of stars and heaving supernovas
Before matter mattered and atoms radiated out
Before all the beauty was composed from breath
Before the Creator lifted a finger towards existence
Someone, somewhere…wrote a poem about this

I like the way this dives into the depths of reflection and then ends on such light note.

A breath of fresh air. The creator/poet still places his words in the hearts of his poets today.

Seeded from Andromeda, the first poem was birthed from no controversy. The discovery of the first poet pondered the question of finding habitats of life elsewhere? The First Poem is like spotting the first star in the cosmos, Amor...alien stars predict the scribes were in droves on alien planets...a thinker's poem for sure.

Sage

For a first poem, this is absolutely beautiful! Someone had to do it, right? Well done, Amor!
