Written for a friend...

I have never met a spirit
That I just could not admire
There are spirits who have passion
There are spirits who have fire

There are spirits who are gentle
There are spirits who are sad
But I've never met a spirit
Who was really truly bad

There are spirits just like yours child
That I want to reach out to
Just to show you I will be your friend
When you are down and blue

There are spirits who can take us
Through a million magic doors
There are spirits who fulfill us
And that kind of spirit's yours!

Yes, it's true. If we spend our time looking for the good in people it's really hard to see anything else. Good poem!
