I've never seen pigeons in old Central Park
And I never will make it to Spain
Though I've wandered down Hollywood Boulevard
I never will do that again
And the plains of the great Serengeti
Are a place that alas, I won't go
'Though I'd give all I own just to see them
It is not in the cards, this I know
But I am content with the wonders
That I've seen in the places I've gone
Yosemite Park and the Redwoods
Dawson City I felt-then moved on
In my mind I've imagined such wonders
By my music, been carried to Greece
By my books to the threshold of Heaven
By these trips, to a calm inner peace!

My god, John.. how do you do it?! I read you and I FEEL my smile.. HEAR the sighs.. SEE the places, as though peering out from inside your head.. your approach to life shows such a caring, excited-about-life nature.. sigh.. I love your stuff! katy.

Sigh....so wonderous, so strong...but I still want to see Hawaii...lol
