Poem written in October 2010 about how I love October even in warm South Texas
Sweet October
Hello October
With your cool weather
And your vibrant colors
Cool nights
Cool mornings
Warm October afternoons
There’s a promise
Of something sweet
And warm and happy
In the cool October air
This morning
I am waiting for the
First cool norther
To blow in from the
Northwest Texas plains
Anticipating
Leaves blowing
In the wind
I love sweet October
Even in this South Texas
Brush Country

Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
