Remembering full moon nights of being in love and planning our future
Full moon serenade
The full moon shines in the cold night air
As the sky grows darker it shines brighter
I remember the nights that we walked
The cold dark streets of San Antonio
Planning our future
While the full moon shined down on us
I wished the night would never end
Those nights as he sat on the steps with me
Me, bundled up in my coat
And his arms around me
Warm and protecting
From the cold as the moon
Casting shadows by the trees
I want to go back to that time
When I was just 18
But now when I see that full moon
Up in the sky shining cold and bright
I remember those cold winter nights
But my heart is warm and overflowing

And who would be walking anymore if they could drive with their GPS squawking every corner or so telling them where and how to go. There are really too many distractions for peaceful life planning anymore. And that's a shame.
