This morning I was awakened
By a voice as gentle as a dove
Wake up baby, wake up.
Everything is going to be all right
It sang
****
I lay still for a few moments
Not quite sure from where the voice came
Or from whom
There was no one laying beside me
And no one knocked at my door
Yet as I laid there a little baffled
The voice repeated its mantra
Wake up, wake up babe
Everything is going to be all right
*****
A smile spread across my face
Like butter on a warn toast
My heart palpitated
as if an electric charge had been administered
******
Yes the night had been long
And the darkness deep and penetrating
But as the sun rose above the horizon
Shining so bright
Flooding the earth with its warm glow
I was told in words that held no ambiguity
Flowing from the secret place of the Most High
That I was cradled in the arms of the One
And baby everything was going to be all right
Everything was a right.
Do you mind if I see if I can print this and put it on my wall?I believe this has got to be one of the best if not the best one I have read. I just LOVE THIS!!
