(inspired by the works of Sebastio Salgado)

Someone untangle me from this web of existence
coiled all around me cords of every kind, color and size
cords for this and cords for that
they wrapped around me like snakes
coiling tangling around my hands, feet and neck
squeezing the life from me
they are everywhere not a muscle not an inch can I move they have got me
They have got me wrapped up, tied up and tangled up in.....

I moved to the right I feel a tug
moving to the left there is one there too
I am attached
to what or to whom I am not quite sure

I try to speak and my word seems to carry with it a string of echoes
as if it carries far beyond my intended audience
I raise my hands to grab a hold of...
and I feel as if I am attached
invisible cords appears to be everywhere
I am attached to....
I am not quite sure
connected, connection, invisible connections.
cords of entanglement that cannot be denied and cannot be untangled
connections there but very rarely felt and less understood
I am wrapped up, tied up tangled up with invisible cords
cords of souls, spirits, enmeshed in and with the family of creation.
