Why ,oh why ,did you dim her lovely light? why did you snuff her words and push them out of sight? Why did you hide her love? (you know that wasnt right). All she ever wanted was to share her heart with you... is money all you care about ? My heart breaks if you do. she could not help it that she died, (at least her words could live ) 0 does poetry count for naught ... when there's no coins to give ?

Since I've been here on AD, I have read many poets who disappeared. Fortunately, someone like you, have merely taking a hiatus for any number of reasons and now are back. But, I have a sneaking suspicion that many poets here, many of them aging and ailing, left the site involuntarily like your mother.

Their poetry lives on here and in other places on the web receiving dwindling readership with time. I still send emails to some who I believe will never be able to answer me again. It is the way of life that we must accept. Perhaps the hardest when it is someone close like our mothers and fathers.
