JUST A RANT

Please don’t ever presume
that I have ‘a place’,
and never assume
that you have 'put me there',
for I WILL NOT be pinned
to any little space,
' my place' is the entire world
and every inch of ALL its air.
Don’t ever think that I belong 'beneath',
or in a space condoned by mighty YOU,
for I will NEVER stay
in any place you say,
in fact…
I’ll smash your barriers clean through.
Please…..
don’t think that I am IN ‘my place’,
and NEVER think
that you have ‘put me there’,
for the passion in my soul
will burn a massive hole
in the strongest prison bars
(I’ll escape to touch the stars) ,
and NO ONE on this planet Earth
will ‘PLACE’ me anywhere.

Never… ever… think I have ‘a place,’
or think
that YOU
have put ME
where you think
that I SHOULD be.
For as long as I have breath
I will fight it...
‘ till my death,
and I'll tear the chains that place me
ANYWHERE BUT FREE.
