My Dog
By yours truly
The Cap'n"
Warren Miner
Where in the world
will i ever find
Another friend like you
I've been so blind
I should have taken better care
To clip your claws
To brush your hair
I should have taken
And i know it's true
More time each day
To notice you
We could have played
More of your favorite games
Even the ones
Without any names
It's funny now that i feel so blue
Now i stop to notice you
Notice you now
That you are gone
As i'm sitting here feeling so all alone
I just wrote this to say so long
You've been a good friend
All along..................
MY DOG !
