Thank You-Our Seniors!

We want you to know the investments you made
In the past are still vital for all us today-
You weathered the storms of life, now it seems
There's not a lot left to fulfill your dreams!

But you still impact the lives that you touch
By being just you, and giving so much-
We look to your strength and confidence true
Praying, 'God, grant us these attributes, too'!

For only God knows what you took to be tough
And keep going on when the times were so rough-
You took up your cross and bore it each day,
You trusted in God, so let come what may!

We hold you in high regard and esteem
You here in the church, you're part of God's team!
Your prayers and your love we need 'til the end,
You're one in a million on whom we depend!

So even though life is winding on down,
Your hope still remains one day in your crown-
For Heaven is real, and so is God's Son,
You will be rewarded for good that you've done!
