As You Marry

Dear Jason and Beth, this poem's for you,
Wishing you blessings as you say, 'I do'-
You'll find new meaning as you begin life,
Walking together, as husband and wife!

Not only as spouse, but best friend as well,
Giving your all, leaving nothing to tell-
Sharing those moments expressing your heart,
Bonding together your love from the start!

There may be days when it seems life's not fair,
Those are the times that you really must care-
Never let selfish ambition and pride
Take precedence o'er what you feel inside!

Always remember that God is supreme,
Let Him be center of all of your dreams-
If He is sovereign in your lives each day,
Blessings and honor He'll send forth your way!

Now as you marry, may love, joy and peace,
Daily be attributes that will increase-
And may this union be blessed from above,
Granting your home always be full of love!
