The Sisters Three
For sure, all knw that mom was 'Sarge',
She ruled with force and woe-
And seldom was she not in charge,
With three girls in a row!
She made them learn their abc's
And always go to mass-
There never was much time to tease,
'Mid church and work and class!
The sisters grew to womanhood,
And though change came to life-
Upon the Rock they've firmly stood
As Christian, Mom and Wife!
They're older now, but there's no doubt
The bond of love they share
Is what real fam'ly love's about,
For each, the other's there!
The 'Sarge'? Oh yes, she's made her mark,
In life, as most moms do-
So may she never be too stark
To whisper, 'I love you'...
TO THE SISTERS THREE!
