The morning started out the same,
With breakfast, laughs, perhaps a game...
Then " I love yous " and off to school...
Not knowing that an evil fool

To life and love,
For those so young... Now up above
They soar with mighty angels' wings,
And sing the songs the angels sing!
No time! For suddenly life changed,
A sad young man, somehow deranged,
With guns in hand and no
regret,
Took lives away...Who can forget
The anguish, loss and heartache, too???
Our children, teachers, those of you
Who filled our hearts and lives with joy,
Are gone! No time to save her girl, his boy!!!
No time! For quickly death arrived,
And twenty-eight are now deprived
Of growing older! Why's? and tears
Will now be shared for many years
By loved ones left behind to grieve...
Yet in the midst, somehow believe
That surely good will come from bad!
And peace again, for Moms and Dads...
Is my prayer!
