There's something in this moment

with staleness on the edge.

It sits with nothing else to do

but turn green.

But what's the sense

in turning green from time?

From time to time,

ambition plays it's role upon a life -

It climbs the highest perch,

pulls forth a bloodied knife

and kills love,

and feeds upon love's ardent blood again...

And when ambition dies

it's passion ever flows,

for love, which never dies,

lies within

and lives

again.
