the pigeons

(This is a poem I wrote sometime in the late 80's.)
across the way the pigeons play upon a rooftop ruddy red sunbath dancing two romancing coo and kvetch and nothing said on the rooftop chitter, chatter pitter, patter happy free nothing more could ever matter simple pigeon simply be.

That's my name Jennifer. Palumbo translated into English is pigeon, how about that! You may have written this some time back, but it still applies today. Actually they are rather amazing birds....

rs me of the movie I saw on Thanksgiving night titled Home Alone in NY with the pidgeon lady and them flocking around her when called. They are marvelous little creatures of God's kingdom.
