God Knew
God knew
What He was doing
When He created a child.
A tiny
Little soul
So complete and mild.
With skin
So soft and tender
To the touch.
No one
Could imagine
You could love them so much.
Their little eyes
So trusting and true
While their tiny hands find so much to do.
Nowhere
In the world
Is anything so sweet.
As a baby
Sent from Heaven
Made so complete.
