              I write as I write

           People know what I write;

what I mean when I write.

           No mystical message

           to confuse those that read

           what I write.

           I write for your entertainment,

           no hidden intendment

for one to weigh in one’s mind.

            My thoughts are open,

            no need to search for

            deeply hidden meaning.

The pictures I draw are drawn

in words so you see what

            I see.

The pictures I draw are drawn

in words so you feel what

            I feel.

Love is written on pages of paper

            in black on white

            in words of scarlet desire.

            My passion easily felt,

            easily sensed and simply seen:

            as man into woman,

            as woman onto man.

            No mistaking the heat of

            my words with hidden

            meaning along with

            barely decipherable emotion.

            Writing portrays me

            as one of  straightforward

            words void of shrouded

            meaning.

            Never minced or disguised,

if the words are harsh with

            meanings sexually inclined,

some may blush and turn away,

            but from me to you,

            I write as I write.

YOU Got that RIGHT! Smiling!
I write blunt usually, but through time here, my writings seemed to have changed!
I follow my heart, hands and fingers! My muse leads!
I like your style, as my own, blunt, straightforward and no pretense or fantasies stand in your way...
as I am guilty of (at times) as my words just fly!

WRITE ON!
Your style of writing is divine! Honest from the heart from the very start! to the very end, my new writing friend!

I agree with Carole, that's what makes each of us unique. I love poetry that I don't have to figure out. Nicely done, Mark.

If they hadn't etched those hieroglyphics on the Pharaoh's walls we wouldn't today know anything about them and the scribes.
You write as you write because we need to know about "them" and reading your words...about you.

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
