         Thank You, CC

 A package delivered today,

surprising me for

I had no idea from who.

Opening, searching,

searching for the sender;

you, CC,

the sender was you

my sweetheart.

I thank you for this

birthday gift

but so sad

a gift must be sent under

cover of secrecy,

and I do thank you,

and do apologize for

I have not written words of you, CC,

or words to you for months so it seems

for though I would so love to write of us,

CC.

however written words now seem to me...

written words that I have written,

that I wish to write

now seem inadequate to me

for how I would so love to write

happily

of you and me together.

Happily

of you and me together as one,

CC.

Although impossible

I know,

if I could but love you.

Although impossible

you know,

if you could but love me.

If we, if you and me

could but see how

we might spend our lives:

I with you, you with me.

If in some Godly way

a future became ours.

If in some Godly way

my twenty five years

above yours might slip away

and the burden of your obligations

would be gone.

If in some way

happily

I might love you.

If in some way

happily

you might love me.

I would love you.

Happily

I would truly love you!

I do, CC,

you know

I do truly love you!

However knowing

no future in store for us,

still, CC,

in dreams,

in sad and lonely dreams,

I dream to be with you,

I dream of you to be with me.

In lonely dreams I want my

arms about you.

In lonely dreams I want

the soft touch of your

nude body next to me

and in lonely dreams

I want myself within you.

I want your warm being

to cover me,

to envelope me.

But for now,

CC,

written words,

now seem inadequate to me

and all I can say is thank you!

Thank you for this gift

though sent with love,

I know,

I thank you for this gift

that must be sent in secrecy.

I cried, this is so beautiful Mark. An honest and tender expression to one you love, who so obviously loves you.

My heart breaks for this hidden love so true yet can never be and my mind says WHY? Thank you for sharing Mark as I love what you have to say.

Some have their CC, others their S, what we can call it? life? fate? destiny? coincidence? a twist of fortune?
In Scandinavia they say "many equal children have different names" and yet, their tears are a sorrowful as any others.
A great tender tribute of thanks.

Georg

Such sadness, such utter agony suffered by the heart for the cruel game of time has come between, but a Happy Birthday just the same...

Be always safe,
Karen
