as we live

as we must,

with whom we must.

As life together

can never be,

we’ve decided,

it’s too painful

to say,

“I love you!”

So we’ve decided,

we know what

the letters mean and

though we disguise

what we,

you and I feel

the meaning is there,

the hurt is there,

the longing to

hold you,

to be held by

you isn’t lessened.

The urge to love you,

to kiss you,

to caress you.

The desire isn't lessened.

The urge to see you,

to feel the warmth

of your breasts

against my chest,

to be within you isn’t

lessened.
