A Moral Answer With but one life to live: What does one do? A moral answer needed. What does one do when the one once loved is no longer the one that once was loved? When, by his own hand, by his own choice, the once loved becomes one not known? When the one loved for many years past, now finds love from only within a bottle. When, by his choice, older, far beyond his years, older. The one that loved him, that no longer knows him, must now clean his shit, must clean his piss, yet is not given the right of her life that daily is slipping by. No longer the man she loved! No longer the man she knew, burdened now to spend the moments, hours, days, weeks, months and years with one she no longer knows. No longer the man she knew! No longer the man she loved! This woman now, by his hand, by his choice, burdened to spend her life cleaning the refuse of his bowels, the refuse of his kidneys, struggling to lift the weight of his besotted body from off the floor. Burdened with one she no longer loves. Burdened with one she no longer knows. Burdened to spend what time left within her life with one such as this, with one such as this that has purposely squandered his life. With one such as this that has given in trade, the love of this woman for the love of Scotch whisky. Burdened to spend what time is left in her life with one such as this, with one such as this that has purposely squandered his life when there is another that would love her? When there is another that would do what might be done to give her happiness. When there is another that would bring joy into what is left of this woman’s life. When there is another that would bring renewed love into this woman’s life. Given one life to live: A quandary. A moral answer needed.

I KNOW...WE'RE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN AND WHEN ONE IS NOT WEARING ANOTHER'S SHOES ONE CAN ALWAYS 'SPECULATE' AS TO WHAT ONE SHOULD DO BUT...YOU ASKED FOR A 'MORAL' ANSWER...AND THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. MORALLY... PRAYER IS THE ONLY THING THAT WILL GIVE THIS PERSON THE STRENGTH TO DO WHAT MUST BE DONE. GOD CAN HELP THE WIFE AND THE HUSBAND. FOR IF ONE FINDS THEMSELVES WITH THEIR 'HUSBAND OR WIFE' IN THIS TERRIBLE CONDITION, THEN ONE IS OBLIGATED TO CARE FOR THEIR HUSBAND OR WIFE. IF ONE STOOD THE SUNNY DAYS, THEN ONE SHOULD STAND THE RAINY DAYS AS WELL. ALCOHOLISM IS A 'DISEASE'...A 'SICKNESS'. IT COULD HAPPEN TO ANYONE. SO THEN IMPOSE THIS QUESTION...'IF'...JUST 'IF' THE SHOE WAS ON THE OTHER FOOT...IF YOU WERE IN THEIR POSITION...WHAT WOULD YOU WANT THEM TO DO? AND SOMETHING ELSE...THAT OTHER PERSON WHO SEEMS SO TEMPTING...IF THEY WERE OF GOD, THEY'D MOVE ON... MOVE ON AND NOT, AT ANY STAGE OF ONE'S MARRIED LIFE, ENTICE ONE TO BECOME AN ADULTERER. TWO WRONGS HAVE NEVER...EVER...MADE A RIGHT! MORALS ARE BIGGER THAN YOU OR YOUR OTHER HALF. EITHER YOU HAVE 'EM...OR YOU DON'T. TAKE IT FROM ONE WHO KNOWS, I AM A FORGIVEN ADULTERER. GOD'S WAY IS ALWAYS THE BEST WAY. THANKS FOR SHARING AND BLESSINGS.
