An oddity I’d say I'm an oddity in so far as blaming my parents for whatever or any reason my life has not become as I wish. Never browbeaten never beaten, thoroughly loved knowing, though, swats on my ass when deserved. Even if hated told to eat that that was good for me. Bed time bed time even if not ready. No phony rewards, no shelved trophies for loosing, for when I lost I lost. Chores known chores completed. Far from rich never poor never without that that was needed. Clothing handed from older cousin to me. Second-hand bike my cherished prize. Play in the alleys worse crime breaking a plate glass window with a swatted ball. No blame to my parents. My life designed by only myself. No blame to my parents, no, none at all!

Times sure have changed, haven't they? People don't want to own up, accept responsibility, blaming their parents for every thing. I like who you are, Mark. You turned out swell. :) Well done.

Poor Mark, he only has himself to blame, at least I have my parents to take the blame about everything! Isn't life swell?.........LOL
Seriously, where we came from, what we are and what the future has in store is the stuff that helped Freud to be universally known, but not us!

Sometimes it seems natural to blame ones parent(s) for their own short-comings or for things that we feel we lack (or lacked growing up) in our lives, but as we grow older we come to understand the sacrifices our parents made for us and we also see that they did their very best ... no one could ask for more, really.
