Nuts! I must be nuts! Nothing to worry about. No fear of a misplaced word no fear of a comma where should be a semicolon paragraphs in proper order sentences as should be, all writing accepted, rounds of editing from me to him and back to me... then back to him all editing through. Cover art long since agreed. Last of three books on way to printing, two and a half decades of writing then re-writing then re-writing again... and again all through nothing more to do, nothing more I can do, no words arriving in the middle of the night, no thoughts coming that must, simply must be remembered, no vital thought repeating, repeating in my mind time and time again to remember. So I must be nuts because from the TV in the living room then back to the computer and back again then once more having a need to go on, but go on with what? Nuts! I must be nuts! So I think I’ll write a dumb poem. Yeah, write a dumb poem!

anxious to read more of marklichterman's work....

NUTS??? i find that its fun and interesting to examine and try to figure out to what degree of'nuts'i really might be...enjoy it...can't wait to get older and nuttier...and 'writing dumb poems' is fun too...got scores of them...good practice and how else would we know when we do something 'good' if we didn't have that comparison

Dear Mark you are not capable of writing anything dumb. But this sounds like me as I have edited my new novel how many times and just sending it off to the publishers. Nuts! I Too Must Be Nuts! LOL
