WRITER’S HEART

We,

we that write must,

must see things differently than other people

as we,

we that write must delve into the emotions

into the emotions of that which we create,

of that which we write

and to sift through the layers of  emotions

of those of whom we write.

Be they real

or be they fiction

we that write must delve into the emotions

into the emotions of that which we create,

We,

we that write must find detail

must portray detail

must illustrate detail

we must,

we must if what others read is,

to their senses,

appear sincere,

to be sincere we,

we as writers must sift through

our own senses to find that which

our poetry

our story

our novel

brings forth from within our hearts

as writers we,

we that create must place our brains

our thoughts

our feelings

into our poetry

our story

our novel

and the thoughts,

our thoughts that

are now thoughts

of those that read what we create,

details must be clear

details must be concise

and the layers of emotions

that we,

we as writers put forth

must,

must be sincere,

must be concise,

must be clear to the sense of those that read us.

That which we write must,

must come from the heart of the writer.
