We’ve decided,

the lady and me,

all contact off.

Though we still do,

though we both still have feelings

one towards the other

we’ve decided,

her and me,

further contact useless

as both the lady and myself,

as both are in real relations

imaginary love

a useless endeavor  

that does naught else

but rob the emotion

but rob the love

intended for that which is real

for that which one can actually touch,

for one that seeingly sits across from us,

for one that truly sleeps alongside of us.

So sadly,

by mutual consent,

we’ve decided,

all contact off.
