I found this one in an old note book from high school... I believe I wrote it around 1980 jjoe

(Cir 1980)

 

 

Will It Pass Me by Again?

 

I have known Love many times

     But it has never known me.

I felt its warmth and seen its gleam

     Yet it never touched me.

I have craved and cried for Love

     But it never dried my tears.

Now I stand with Love so near

     And cannot help but fear---

Will Love pass me by again…?

Joseph, love doesn't have to pass you by because you are the holder of the key to your life...I'm a believer never marry because your afraid you won't have love in your life...because to me, this immediately is a strike against the marriage. Love is precious when shared by two people, it can consume the heart, fill the soul, bring eternal peace, fill a vacany, etc., etc., so don't ever marry just for the sake of it. I enjoyed this write much!!!

Grasp it Joseph, and refuse to let love pass by yet again. Have you ever heard the song The Rose? If not, try to find it. Sometimes you have to take a chance, Joseph.
