Live and Learn

Well if you learn by mistakes I'd be a scholar
I've missed it by a day and was short a dollar
Hind sight is so easily corrected when heartache symptoms have gone on undetected

But you live and you learn then pass it on
Yesterdays failures have already gone
And someone may need you today
So show them the way

My footprints line that trail you've been traveling
Once you're over that peak it starts unraveling
You can see the places where I've stumbled
And the cracks in my life where some pieces have crumbled

Ofcourse you've got to realize they won't always listen
They're in search of the love they've been missing
Its more in what we do than in what we say
Showing love is showing them the way
