4/       A VISION OF CHRIST

•      John suffered, but endured, on the Greek island of Patmos,

•      Through the spreading of God’s word and the testimony of Jesus,

•      He had the Holy Spirit, that no man can ever stop,

•      Though John had really suffered, The Lord’s word had not.

•      John was given a vision on the Day of the Lord,

•      Meaning not be the Sabbath, but judgment by His Word.

•      There were seven lampstands which are the seven churches,

•      Christ is among them, He is to be worshipped.

•      He was dressed in a long white robe, and a golden sash around Him,

•      Which is the final authority when we finally find Him.

•      His head will be white as snow which means He is holy and pure,

•      His knowledge is seen through us with His eyes blazing like fire.

•      His feet were bronze which glowed, shining like in a furnace,

•      This is His strength and purification, the judgment concerning all of us.

•      His voice will be sounding loud, like the sound of rushing waters,

•      Which is the Lord’s almighty message that will be above all other voices.

•      And he held in His right hand, the seven shining stars,

•      Whom within the seven churches are the seven messengers.

•      A double-edged sword was seen, coming out of his mouth,

•      That is not a literal meaning, but the Word of God itself.

•      His face was a shining brilliance, like the sun in all its brightness,

•      He is our Lord Christ Jesus, pure love in all His mightiness.

•      The Lord Jesus said to John, ‘Do not be afraid of these,

    I was dead and now alive forever; I hold the keys of death and Hades.’

•      Write therefore what you’ve seen, and write what is now here,

•      And what will take place later, for the time is so near.
