I must confess that with the title of "Carnal Delight," I was expecting something more in the nature of the offerings of AD Poetess Victoria McColley, one dear to my heart. But I was not disappointed.
Your line, "The memories are etched/On my heart...You being my first" brings to mind that I'm soon to celebrate my 60th wedding anniversary with "my first." First Loves are powerful, indeed.
