It had been a drawn out day With little to say To each other Things became mundane Their lives had no focus Everything had to be jump-started No variety or surprises Ever came their way Yes, it was a routine day One night- one of them Erased the blackboard And opt for a better life Starting with their love life Which had become stale, Obsolete and uninteresting A party of one Asked the other party For an ignited want
