I totally was brought right back to my first dance, (first date for me and my ex-husband). My cousin's band was playing and it was so exciting I had on new shoes and a brightly floral "tent" dress...funny stuff. It's amazing what we do remember and what we choose to forget...

Dad gave me the car for junior prom. We got 8 inches of new snow that May 8. Can't remember my date or the dance, but I got a lot of girls angry at me when I refused to take them 15 miles out of town to the County Park at 3 AM in all that snow.

And then there was that senior prom where my date refused to leave town. I just happened to live 9 miles out of town at that time.
