Do you remember
Decades ago

When life was slower
The economy was better

Your neighbors knew you
And helped you out

People believed in God
Acted accordingly

What has become
Of the America...we once knew

Your words ring so true
*Deborah* but perhaps
remembering the past
will somehow get us
through..

I think it's happening all around...every where....sad thing...speed is catching up on everyone, with gadgets and then corrupting minds...genius being left behind...all getting sort of chaos.. Reading Milan Kundera's slowness ...somehow thought of what I said.

Sad picture

D.L,

I've often wondered the same thing. It seems the world's going crazy where children are dying and hearts are broken.

Many blessings,

I must agree with Jerry regarding politics...
Socially we have become a me world too, no longer
caring for the neighbor we once used to...

Liberals politicians / Too much welfare going to people who do not need it / W-a-a-a-y too much government intrusion in our daily lives / Too many people in this country who hate America and call us evil / Those are the beginning list, there are more, much more.
