If one is only contemplating "one night," I don't think that it's, "looking for love." Love takes a lot longer and requires much more commitment than having one nighters with strangers just to fill some need that is not necessarily love even though it is often thought to be so. Once we dismiss the "love" part, life becomes much easier and we began to love ourselves for what we are, and not how others see us.

Perfect poetry for the blue rose, my friend. God, I have been in that same situation so many times. I truly believe that the many one night love affairs (for there was love given and taken from each other) is what got me through the very hard times. This, to me, is a special poem.
