All the baggage
We carry
Throughout our lives
Weigh us downward
Into oblivion
At times-
Closing doors behind you...
Your past is your past,
Present, all it can be,
Future, yours for the asking

once you know from within whom and when to ask, it doesn’t matter whether behind or in front of you the doors are shut, whether it is in the past or in present or future, what’s the difference then—all the three dimensions make one single roundabout, the point is how to get out of it before giddiness and falling down, if you do know that, Merry X-mas! Cheers, alex

I like to think of it as fond memories. My focus is toward the future and I'm not dragged down by the past at all. But it may be different for others.

I always think of that Bible story about Lot's wife looking back at the cities being demolished and in doing so turned into a pillar of salt. I'm going to share this on my facebook timeline with your permission first, of course.

Love ya!

Oh yeah, that's a fact. All my doors have been closed. I live happily because of it.
