Moments in time,
Releasing
Memories, a light switch
Turning on and off
Throughout
Seasons, reasons, why...
Relishing,
Lovers of the past tense,
I wonder if they reminisce of me
Words with honesty were conveyed
Attaching themselves
To my heartstrings-
Passions evolved
Never long enough...
Always craving more-
Aches I carry within
This weary body-Still-
No resentments,
I only have a few regrets
Carry those to my grave... .. .
Yes, I will

I can relate, Deborah; except that I do not want a "grave." Please send my ashes to the breeze where the fairies will seed them on flowers and such. Just sayin'. Love and best wishes,

Where do they go if you release them? Memories are just that, reflections of a life well lived, whether the memories are good or bad. Aren't bad memories also good if they taught you a life lesson?
