A discovery
Along our weary walk,
A gazebo stood
Before us, begging
Us to peek inside-
Wrought iron with
Cushion seating
Set in circular surround,
Platform made
Of hardwood
Painted white, same color
As a bridal gown-
Bodies hurriedly
Climbed the 5 or 6 steps
Resting. . .
When I lived in San Luis Obispo, California, something happened to myself and my love at the time. Yep! We discovered a gazebo, only it was painted bright red. No one was around, it was off the beaten track so we did the boogie woogie . . . Yes indeed, your poem brought back wonderful memories.
Just a simple gathering of the Gay & Lesbian Activist Association of New Birch and Sipsboror (GLAABS) and we plunge down a hilarious ride to perdition.
